Evan Marmie
Evan Marmie is a dedicated attorney specializing in family law, known for his compassionate approach to emotionally challenging cases. He was born and raised in Appalachian Ohio to a working class family. He was instilled with the understanding of hard work and good spirits as the cornerstones to building success.
He was the first of his family to attend a four-year college when he attended Bethany College in the foothills outside Wheeling, West Virginia. He graduated with a degree in psychology. He then decided to pursue his passion for justice by attending Penn State Dickinson Law, where he graduated in 2020 with his Juris Doctorate.
Following law school, Evan served as a law clerk at the Circuit Court of Maryland in Howard County, where he gained invaluable experience in the legal system. He then took on the role of staff attorney at the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, advocating for victims of domestic violence and working tirelessly to support families in need. As part of Paré and Associates, LLC, Evan focuses on family law cases that often involve challenging and diverse subjects, including domestic violence and LGBT issues.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Evan enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with his golden retriever, Duke. He also enjoys intramural sports, particularly kickball as a part of the Stonewall Kickball league of Washington, and philanthropic volunteer work with the LGBT organizations affiliated with the league. His commitment to both his clients and his community reflects his deep-seated belief in the importance of advocacy and support for those facing difficult family situations.
